For the mode 4 templates there is now a new feature that will allow setttng up and changing the content and order of the entries in the left navigation of the store.
In order to use this new feature the template must have in the area that the navigation listing will sow the special tage of %CUSTNAV% this tag is to replace all the individual special tags used to create a nav list in the template.
By using this single tag in place of all the Individual tags, you will have the ability at any time add stuff, remove stuff, and even re-arrange the entire Nav listing. you can add any special tag, you can add image separators, add spaces, add horizontal rules, add line of text. you can then if you choose re-arrange the whole thing, you can choose in what order you want the nav. All without messing with the Template.
There are a couple of utilities for it. There is a utility that can be used to create nav lists that can be downloaded. this utility can be used to mess with nav lists without messing with the actual stores active list. then any downloaded saved lists can be uploaded and replace the active list.
The active list can also be downloaded to act as backups etc.
**This new feature won't be functional if the %CUSTNAV% tag is not in the template where the nav listing is intended to be.
